Blocking
When Dirk says that Jack allows him to block his own scenes, what exactly does he mean by that and why would Jack find it offensive that Dirk makes this claim?
shareBlocking is a term used in both film and theater. In rehearsals each actor has a precise place they will be on stage during the scene. When a line is said, do they get up, sit down, move across stage and lean against the wall etc. The final blocking is a combination of what the script says, the director says and and the improvisations of the actor.
