Not as Glamorous according to porn producer I met - He wrote a Book
(If anyone is interested, I did put a link at the bottom)
I wonder how many gals think doing porn is this "glamorous"...not that it was too glamorous in this great movie but still more than the real thing.
The crazy thing is that over 10,000 girls try porn each year...average age is 19. It is a crazy sub culture of gals trying to out do each other, get a permanent gig in a production team, etc. Only a few hundred bucks is the typical pay.
I know a Chicago guy who was involved in porn and did his own material for a few years (for online). The real porn star he met was the most brutal - she suggested being rather vicious to the new girls and to not take any "princess *beep* Like she was jaded from being put through the ringer of the biz.
He published a book. This story is pretty screwed up. It is strange that so many young girls are dying to perform sex in front of the camera for a few hundred bucks. He even ended up falling in love with one of the girls who was a rape victim, etc. (He was not cut out for it) He got a ton of housewives that would send him applications to just get him to validate their looks and offer them a gig and then they wouldn't show up as they only wanted the flattery of the offer..lol
I can only vouch that the story is totally true. I never met any of the girls but I've seen the evidence clearly and the guy is actually a nice, clean cut person who is successful and now married. He got involved to serve his own needs rather than biz reasons & feels rather guilty about it now.
He wrote the book as a memoir and to sort of educate on sex addiction, etc.
I personally find it fascinating.
