Scenes that are out of context/character etc
Before they enter the Mercedes dealership (owned by Matt Guitar Murphy and Aretha), Elwood makes a speech about how the men they're about to meet are "unsophisticated men...the only things they respond to are fear and the draw of loot..."
Seems to me that describes the Russian mobsters more than car dealer. Can't help but wonder if that dialogue was originally written for a scene involving the Russians but somehow got moved to the dealership instead.
And another thing...whats up with Elwood's subservient/submissive demeanor when he asks B.B. King about buying the future Bluesmobile? ENTIRELY out of character for him. And Elwood's comment about it being a "nice car" when not only hasn't he driven it, but he hadn't even gotten within 100 feet of it? Most strange.
Anyone notice the name of the white supremacist's boat? The "Leslie Bee" Yet another semi-hidden connection to The Blues as there's a singer by that name!
Nia Peeples was beyond adorable (as usual)
Edited to correct syntax...thank Geebus there's no sin tax otherwise I'd owe more than the national debt.
