Because of course there was no John belushi and he made that movie what it was

The whole film was just a bad idea and an insult to the original, superior "Blues Brothers" of 1980.

I don't know. Basically yeah, Belushi is dead so the movie can only be half the fun of the original. Then again, if a movie is only half as fun as Blues Brothers, then it is still a great movie! Unfortunately BB2K wasn't even close to that. John Goodman wasn't bad and although I missed Belushi I got used to Goodman half way through the movie. There just so many other things that were wrong with it.

Typical Hollywood stuff. You have a money making machine such as the Blues Brothers. Then, you know you can make a crappy sequel, because no matter how bad it is: there will always be THOUSANDS of people who will actually go to see it, which means mo'money.

This movie shouldn't have been made...period, or at least it should be put in a vault with all those Disney direct to dvd sequels.
