Visually gorgeous; stunning art direction, costume, cinematography

This film was a visual feast. William Chang deserved an Oscar for best art direction.

I'm absolutely in love with the green glass plates and cups in this film. Does anyone know if it's Jadeite? They look a bit translucent and I always thought Jadeite was more opaque. I haven't seen Jadeite in person except from afar in antique shop windows.

Beautiful, emotional, & subtle. The mood is almost noirish at times...

Every Wong Kar-Wai movie deserves award for these categories.

I loved the use of mirrors and camera panning.

Quality Jadeite is more transparent and cheap jadeite would be opaque, so it may have been jadeite. Yeah the dishes were gorgeous. So much beauty in this film.
