I mean is there any real meaning I could not catch or am I giving some extra meaning to those parts in the first half of the movie with meautiful music?

Just telling the story without words, I would say. To me it was a way of showing their loneliness, just them, alone, no one to talk to, no dialog.

I agree with the other comment. But if you see those scenes again, and many other scenes in the movie, you'll notice that they are shot behind other stuff. Like if the whole story were a secret, something intimate.
