Let’s assume Ivy would not kill Robin; what was Robin thinking would come of him going to see Ivy at her lair? Was he expecting that they would have sex and then maybe have some kind of relationship in which they would appear as enemies in front of Batman and the rest of Gotham while carrying on a secret love affair?

Of course, he finds out that Batman was right about her not being real.
