Did anybody actually see this in a theater?
If so what did you think when you walked out? How many people were in the theater? Were you disappointed when you walked out?

shareI did, but I really wasn't that disappointed. I mean the trailer showed this was going to be a campy cheesefest and that's what you get. I have no idea how many people were in the theater. I think I was mostly disappointed that Bane was just a mindless thug.
shareThe theater was full as it was opening weekend.
Disappointed for sure. I remember telling my wife it harked back to the campiness of the TV series without the charm and self-awareness of the campiness the TV series had.
OTOH, I liked Batman 89. I thought BR was too 70's comic bookish and that BF was tolerable, but over the top.
I also liked BB, TDK, but despise TDKR more than B&R.
Batman 66 is in the same tier as 89, BB, and TDK by default.
I'll leave the 40's serials out of the discussion.
