I watched it today again for 500th time and I simply loved it again feels like watching for the first time .This film was a tribute to silver age batman comics everything was straight taken from silver age batman .Barbara wilson was a mixture of dafne pennyworth and betty kane and this thing was still better than the garbage robin thing of tdkr . Even bane was way better than tdkr crappy bane .Everything was truly awesome amazing and better than entire garbage nolan trilogy overall :-10/10 truly a great cbm film in 90s
Sigh.....so now i know you are trolling, how on earth can you rate this film 10 out of 10 ? its fucking awful, and i couldnt give a rats ass if this is taken straight from the comics its still an awful film.
Nolans trilogy pisses all over this film and the whole DCEU, this obession you have with crappy films is not healthy.
I love the Nolan films but I like B&R much better than Batman vs Superman. I don't think it's a better movie really but it's watchable in that "so bad and campy that it's good" sorta way and for me Batman vs Superman was just dull.
Loves the Schumacher Batman films, hates Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy, can't speak/write in complete sentences, always saying things like "Marveltard" and Infinity bore", has an indecipherable screen name, claims to be older than he is, considers BvS to be a work of art. Yeah, you fit the description.
"Batman & Robin" is, in my opinion, the best of the '89-'97 tetralogy. Here's why:
•It has the best Batman/Bruce Wayne in George Clooney. Although Val Kilmer has the better Bruce Wayne demeanor (i.e. grimmer), Clooney just LOOKS like Wayne. In addition, he's charismatic and entertaining in the role from beginning to end.
•It has the best sense of family between the inhabitants of Wayne Manor. The love and camaraderie of Bruce, Dick/Robin (Chris O'Donnell), Alfred and Barbara/Batgirl (Alicia Silverstone) is a pleasure to behold.
•It has Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl. Nuff said.
•It has Uma Thurman shining in the role of Poison Ivy. I usually don't find tall, thin women appealing (I'm more attracted to women akin to Silverstone), but I have to admit that Uma completely owns the over-the-top role of Poison Ivy and is truly alluring.
•Arnold Schwarzenegger is great as Mr. Freeze. Yes, every time he merely opens his mouth you know it's Schwarzenegger, but he's amusing and he has a great look and costume.
•The film has heart. Although Poison Ivy is truly ee-vil and gets her comeuppance, you can't help but sympathize with Freeze's love for his wife and desire to resurrect her. Batman is able to see under his icy veneer and see a warm heart that's willing to accept redemption and make restitution. Furthermore, as noted above, you really feel the love of Bruce and Alfred and the others at Wayne Manor.
•Lastly, the film is full of vibrant colors and goofy over-the-top thrills. It's just a fun movie, if you're in the mood for a half-serious/half-campfest superhero flick.
Yes man it is the best film in batman anthology it does not deserve the hate you got batman is more like this in 1950s but nolantards think batman is a dark cancerous voice guy lol
