Chase should have been Ivy

It would be interesting if Nicole Kidman's character were pre-transformation Pamela Isley instead of Chase. This would set up a relationship between Pamela and Bruce/Batman and then she would turn into Poison Ivy in the next movie. It would create an interesting dynamic with Bruce's girlfriend becoming not only becoming evil but someone he has to fight to protect Gotham. It would be similar to how pre-disfigured Harvey Dent appears in Batman and Two-Face later appears in Batman Forever but on a deeper level.

I agree that Nicole Kidman should have been Poison Ivy (I think Schumacher originally wanted Kidman to play Poison Ivy in 'Batman Forever' but realised that there would be too many villains for one film), but only if the film stuck to the character's comic-book origins, which to be fair Batman & Robin, for all its flaws, did.

I actually thought Nicole Kidman was suppose to be Poison Ivy when I first saw Batman Forever poster back in 1995

Maybe Riddler could have used some kind of mind control to brainwash her while she was in his captivity to turn her evil. Then, Batman might have been unable to save her during Riddler's "game show," and she would have fallen presumably to her death only to fall into a mixture of chemicals and plants to transform her into Poison Ivy.
