There is only a 2-year gap between Batman Forever and Batman and Robin. Did Val Kilmer film any extra scenes during Batman Forever with the original intention that they would be used in a later sequel assuming that Kilmer would return to the role?
shareI don't think so. From what I read, Val was such a nightmare to work with on Forever, nobody wanted him back for a sequel.
There's stories all over the net about how much of a Diva he was during the making of Batman Forever, just do a google search.
Yeah, they wrote about it extensively; truly hurts since I've been a fan since "Real Genius" and "Top Secret!" ;-/
