The grenade *spoiler*

After he escapes from Agnieska's appartment and he was chased by cars, he dropped a nade. Where did that nade come from ?
... I mean it's not like you can say "I always have a nade with me - never leave home without it". Plus, even if he would have, I am pretty sure it'd have rolled out when he tumbled on either the rug (jumping through the balcony window of the adjacent building) or on the bazzar small metal roofs at night (as his foot went a bit through one of them).

... unless I missed something.

It's my understanding that devices like that, when worn concealed, are attached to some inner clothing or pocket by a velcro or weak string loop that keeps them from falling out, but can be easily yanked out when "needed".

Ah thanks... so in a way he basically always has one handy...
Hmmm...

reply

Off course, hes supposed to be Carlos, and Carlos always has one.

reply

So if Carlos always has one, why did the girlfriend have to slip him one at the very beginning when he drops the grenade in the French Cafe?

reply

That was to prove he can trust her, I think (as she later stated when Annibal pretended to be Carlos in Libya).

@klump and kelani: actually you guys are right... he had one in the embassy too.

reply

Carrying a grenade in Libya might be seen as normal behaviour, being checked by the French police and carrying one might lead to embarassing questions and a longer prison stay...

Andy
