What about the bloodline?

It's been a long time sice I saw this one, but I remember one inconcistency about it which annoyed me at the time. In AWIL, one of the basic rules was that the werewolf was haunted by his victims who tried to make him kill himself, so that the blood line might be broken.

If I've understood the situation correctly, Serafine in AWIP is the daughter of David Kessler (the werewolf in AWOL) and his girlfriend Alex Price. Serafine has obviously been "contaminated" with the werewolf disease by her parents. This means that the bloodline has not been broken. In this case, why isn't Serafine (and all who are contaminated by her) haunted by the ghosts of the victims from AWIL?

Could it be that the dead people only haunt the werewolf who killed them, regardless of whether the bloodline continues or not?

This may seem like nitpicking, but a bit of logic shouldn't be too much to ask for even in the most unpretentious of horror movies.

Any opinions?

After just watching these films for the first time in a while I would say that the reason Serafine was infected was when she was conceived in the first film by David Kessler and Alex Price when they both had sex in her apartment. After the events in the first film and David being killed, Alex has no place to go and leaves London. When she arrives in Paris she discovers she's pregnant and keeps the baby because that's all she has left of David. She gives birth and becomes a hard working single mom when she meets another man, knowing what's best for her daughter she gets married to him and it isn't until Serafine reaches puberty when she changes. Alex know believing what has happened after the police covered up in case in London, her and her new husband work together and try to discover something the cure her of this curse and lock her up whenever she changes.

I would say that's how I thought it happened. (This sequal is God awful and just a slap in the face to the first one...they f*ucked up on everything, but just to say I think Serafine got the curse when she was conceived from her father...maybe Alex had the same curse and we never saw, but I think it just hit their unborn baby. We never see who haunts Serafine...only her other (her father can't since he was killed by the hand of police men and was rid of the curse. maybe it starts fresh with who u see when your born since Serafine didn't kill the people in London.
