contradiction

ok watching the first film kinda makes this one impossible.
so in the original, david had to "sever the wolves bloodline" by killing himself right?
if he was killing the bloodline by killng himself how come the apparitions never told him to take that nurse out?

The only real conclusion I can really come to is that it was just bad screenwriting. Plus, I like to pretend part 2 never happened.

Although, I liked Bush's remix of their song, "Mouth".

ah you prefer the original too?

ill have to try your solution of ignoring it. maybe if im lucky it'll go away

reply

Yes, totally, the originals are always the best. Remakes and sequels, 75% of the time, usually ruin the original.

And these gawdawful tv-remakes are starting to annoy me to no end. Did you know there's even gonna be a Land of the Lost remake with Will Farrell?

somethings should just be left alone.
the romero series are pretty good, i actually liked the remakes aswell as the originals.
but then you get texas chainsaw massacre, hills have eyes and the fog, and these people ruin it

reply

Now watch, the next movie being remade will be something like, say, Citizen Kane, Wizard of Oz, or even Plan 9 from Outer Space.

Hollywood needs to get original, like it was in 40's - early 80's.

The undead didn't know the nurse was pregnant. They seem to come into existence with some innate knowledge of werewolves and of their own undead state but that doesn't mean they know everything. In AAWiL, David's friend said that an undead must wander the Earth until the werewolf that killed them and any other werewolves in its bloodline are killed. In AAWiP, all the werewolves are derived from Serafine who is David's daughter but when Andy kills a werewolf, Brad is able to 'ascend'. Based on the information from these two movies, a werewolf's bloodline seems to include only the werewolf and its direct descendants. Since Serafine is David's direct descendant, and since her mother moved to Paris soon after David was killed, the undead from the first movie are probably still roaming the streets of London wondering why they haven't ascended.

The only real contradiction is that David's undead friend was able to touch stuff while the undead in the second movie couldn't. Maybe it requires a lot of concentration (like in the movie Ghost) and not everyone can do it.
