How would Serafine get all the medical thingyies and be able to keep them in her basement? [I think she works at the hospital, but] who would let her take them?

shareWell, her father is a scientist, or a doctor, or maybe both. Maybe he has them for safe keeping, just in case Serafine, or someone else, gets hurt during his experiments. Maybe with a degree in medicine or science you can get away with anything? That's how I'm seeing it.
