Better than The Dark Knight

LOL, just yankin yer chain. Actually I just watched Glitter for the 2nd time (yeah I'm feelin brave) and it isn't all that bad. Sure it has the simplicity of an After School Special, sure Mariah squeaks like a mouse now and then, and her character looked like a pizza delivery boy in the first part of the movie.

But it's a cute rising-star tale with little triumphs and heartbreaks on the way to the top and hey the girl has lungs. The low point is Dice at the awards show with his shirt hanging open and the gold "Dice" medallion. Of course for no apparent reason it is at this point that he transforms from successful happy musician/agent/promoter guy to drunk smug girlfriend-hitting anus and -surprise- the happy plot is in need of a rescue ;-)

Oh and it's better than The Dark Knight
