Was this movie suppose to take place in the 80's?
I know in the beginning it was taking place in the 80's and I can tell by how they were dressing in 80's fashion. All the music was like the 80's R&B music even the one Mariah was sampling were 80's R&B music. Later on in the movie it seem to get into a 90's or today type era.
