What happened to her mom and dad?
I started watching the movie, and had to leave for about 15 minutes. The last I saw, Glitter and her mom were standing at the front door of her dad's house.

Well her dad never really wanted anything to do with her, so thats the only scene he's in. Her mom accidentally burns the house down, and sends Billie away cause they have no home now. Then shes reunited with her mother at the end of the movie :)
