I had been watching too much TV. After seeing this moive, I think I have been broken. I may never watch TV again. I may never go to the movies again.

Ms Carey is a fine singer and I suppose she has her legions of fans, but she was betrayed by many medicore elements brought together in this title. If I were a big fan I do not think I would bring this production up very often in conversation.

As a person that enjoys movies, this one is a misfire.

You may be right, youllseemeontv, "not THAT bad", , I may have seen as bad and maybe even worse. For me, it is still bad.

I don't know, and frankly do not care much, if she orchestrated this thing or if someone gave her a bum steer.

If she did dream it up herself, she should stick to singing and leave fimmaking to the professionals (I understand she did a fine turn as an actress a couple of years ago).

If she got talked into it, she should sue.

I know some people adore this film and to each his own. I'm not grateful that you seem to agree with me as it would not change my opinion even if you did not. But I think you also gave it a chance, an honest chance, to be better than what people have said about it since it opened.

It is just not a good movie.
