Coburn's drunken rantings during the wake were one of the film's highlights, simultaneously disturbing and hilarious (especially when Wade finally snaps and slams his father against the wall to shut him up).

Yes. He reminded me of an alcoholic, R-rated version of Frank Barone from Everybody Loves Raymond.
