She was killed at home and her husband and all the staff were out of the country. How did the cops find out she had been killed?

Nope. He and the staff are on vacation in Barbados.

Yes, that's where they WERE, but he (obviously) eventually came home.

Other Cop: "Sorry, Seth. The entire Sullivan household went to Barbados 2 days ago."

If he had discovered her, her answer would have been "He's downstairs".
