Did they ever explain what happened with the dad (Diane Cannon's husband)?? He was arrested in Mexico but they never resolved that part of the storyline. Wasn't Charlie trying to get him freed? I'm confused.
over the credits, there's Charlie and Laurie's wedding scene, and everybody's there: the dad has "Gringo" tatooed on the back of his shaved head, and Fern (his mother, who Joe Pesci threw off a cliff), is alive and well. It's a pretty funny scene and it ends the movie nicely.
