That scene is pretty clever and i always laugh. I remember when i first saw this movie I was laughin and then thinkin this better be a dream or this movie just took a nose dive. I think this movie is heavily underrated, sure it's a little ridiculous but the comedy is genius.

lol...I wondered this too, I always just assumed it meant "landlord" or "lady friend" could be a typo too...

Probably ladyfriend. Maybe he felt they're too mature to say "girlfriend".

Either that, or he was saying "me and my speech impediment." Eye of the beholder, I guess.
