Somewhere a Republican is writing to his congressman..

I mean, didn't Bush's pet republican congress and senate pass some sort of blanket law that classified any and all movies that portrayed nude minors in sexual situations as underage pornography? The character of Tina was shown nude, and she was presumably a high school senior.

I guess she technically could have been over 18, but I am sure some conservative crank somewhere was both titilated and morally outraged bythe scene.

And before someone points it out, yes I know the actress was over 18, thats not my point. The law, as written, would ban Romeo and Juliet as well.

Such a naughty nation we live in, with its books, art, and all..

I think when you say "nude minors" you really mean obviously underaged characters, say 6 to 14 year olds (give or take a year). You're exaggerating just to rag on republicans. I know you're probably upset about Sarah Palin's sudden popularity but relax. Besides isn't it the dems who want to limit free speech by passing the "Fairness Doctrine?" "187" is rated 'R' and yes, the student could have been 18 since she was a senior (by the way the character's name is Rita not Tina) and she wasn't actually naked, no vital areas were exposed - you just think you saw something. Go back and look at it. Also it was Tipper Gore who got those rating brands put on music CDs - which only caused young people to go out and buy more copies of the 'unforbidden' lyrics. Maybe you should be upset with the democrats too. Do we really need to bash the other side? Grow up.

Heh heh heh..

Really gotcha goat, there, slim.

But actually, her breast was exposed during an offer for minor/adult sex, and according to the bill proposed by your friends, would have qualified for indecent, given that she is underaged, which I agree was never established in the first place.

But rather than me seeing something that wasn't there, possibly your version has been "edited" to remove something that WAS there, for your own good, of course. Wouldn't suprise me.

And I like the addition of Ms. Palin. Glad you brought her into this sleazy little exchange! She is very perky, in a Jerry Springer kind of way.

Also, thanks so much for correcting my mistake, re: name of the character.

As I advise all amateur editors, # it up your :

(Oops, that wasn't very mature!)

i don't think the republicans will worry about a nude underage girl in a movie. after all, the candidate for v.p. has an underage, unwed, pregnant daughter so a boob from an actress shouldn't bother them too much.

Good point. I stand corrected.
