Region 2 release date?

Anybody know if this will be released on region 2, thanks in advance.

sorry to disapoint but the distributors have said that it will never be released on region 2 best to get it on region 1

Can anyone shed some light onto why this will never get a R2 release?

I had it on VHS many years back and would love to see it again.

It on Channel 5 tonight in the UK at around 11pm. You can record it on to DVD if you have a DVD recorder.

A region 2 version was released. I don't know its release date but i bought it a few weeks ago in the Netherlands. Look for it in the bigger stores, they probably have it. Look on amazon.co.uk if you want proof (English/Spanish subtitles, but local stores probably have a version with your national subtitles. My version has optional Dutch subs).

I have R2 PAL DVD. It's with nordic subtitles. No any extras at all, but menu with scene selection. DVD backcover says that it's a fullscreen, but i think it's a letterbox. Picture quality is good.
