cesar = cesar

While watching this movie, I found that Cesar's voice sounded hella familiar, so I did a little research, and I found that Clifton Collins Jr. , who plays Cesar Sanchez in 187, also provides the voice for Cesar Vialpando in Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. It's kinda cool how he plays 2 characters by the same first name through 2 different forms of media. Also, Samuel L. Jackson is linked to both projects, He plays Mr. Garfield in 187, and provides the voice for the corrupt law enforcer, Frank Tenpenney, in San Andreas.
Maybe there are more links between the movie and the game, but these are the two I picked up on.

I think you'll find that the actor's name is actually Clifton Gonzalez Gonzalez, who is the grandson of a famous actor who goes by that surname (I can't remember his first name, though)

Nah, he's sometimes credited as Clifton Gonzalez Gonzalez. His name is Clifton Criag Colins, Jr. The Gonzalez Gonzalez credit is to honor his grandfather.

Funny this is mentioned about San Andreas. Jackson voices Officer Tenpenny in San Andreas. In 187 Dave Childras talks about the teacher stabbed in NY. He says he was stabbed by a student using a tenpenny nail. Coincidence
