Why didn't he show the principal the tape???!! *spoilers*

*spoilers below*

Why didn't Garfield show the principal the tape of Caesar confessing to the stealing of Garfield's watch??
It would, at the very least, help Garfield regain some credibility in the admin's eyes.
Granted he did technically break into his locker, but if Garfield knew he would get in trouble....WHAT WAS THE POINT OF MAKING THE TAPE IN THE FIRST PLACE??

Yes, but I wondered why Garfield didn't rush right over and show Garcia the tape right after class was over.
But then again, he would have gotten in trouble for stealing the combination for the locker.
I guess it was supposed to stop Ceasar from making more trouble, but it seemed pointless to me.
He never should have left valuable things out (I wouldn't do that in ANY school!!!) or leave pets there.
That was SO foolish of Garfield to do.

YEAH HE'D HAVE GOT IN TROUBLE BUT SO WOULD CESAR BECAUSE HE BASICALLY ADMITTED THAT HE TOOK THE WATCH WHEN HE DENIED IT IN THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE EARLIER...I GUESS THAT WAS HIS INTENTION, TO STOP CESAR FROM MAKING MORE TROUBLE BUT HE PROBABLY DIDN'T ANTICIPATE THAT HE AND HIS HOMIES WOULD BREAK IN TO CLASS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT (DURING CLOSED HOURS) TO BREAK UP THE CAMERA AND THE CLASSROOM

It wouldn't have done any good. Garcia is a bureaucratic POS who just thinks about what's best for the district, not the teachers. What gets me is that Garcia never taught before. People who become school principals start out as teachers. That is a requirement in 99.9% of school districts across the country. The principal is such a badly written character because he said he never had the pleasure of teaching, but yet is a principal.
