Why L.A?

After what happened in New York, why would he choose L.A. of all the places to teach? Seemed a bit strange to me.

That's what I thought! Isn't L.A. way worse than NY as far as violence goes??

"Hey guys! Whoa, Big Gulps huh? All right! Well, see ya later!" Dumb & Dumber

LA is overcrowded and it really isn't enough room out here for all these people who live here in LA. Not trying to say nothing or start some mess but LA has tooooooooooo many Mexicans for the amount of area that this town has. A lot of these schools out here can barely accommodate them. Look at the JC's out here, especially in the LACCD (LAVC, East LA College, Trade Tech, etc.) these schools have to kick out kids because the classes are too crowded and most of the population of students here are Latinos and/or Mexicans.

LA has too may gangs for the LAPD and other city forces to deal with. Many of the gangs out here are better strapped than the cops and there is a fear out here that you never know when you may get caught in the crossfire. LA is too dangerous for me. That's why I'm glad I'm moving next year.

All inner city schools are bad. I have taught in NY and in Philly, and have heard that Chicago, San Fran, ect are awful as well.

Should have at least gone to Bakersfield.
