Spawn: The Animation. Make it please.

I, like many other fans, have been following this suspended project, hopeful it will see the light of day. Being from New Zealand, it's hard to guage the viability of the show. I don't know how American television works. I do know however that we're a long way from the end of the 1990s, the peak of popularity for the character. I still read Spawn but it appears to have become a cult sort of thing, niche audience and so forth. Maybe it always was. Feels like the chance for a follow-up show has been passed. In any event, I'll continue to follow the 'development' of the animation, even though the last update on spawn.com is from 2005 or thereabouts. Barest of mention from Todd in the book's letter section. I would kill to see a new show made. If anyone knows ANY news of this potentially awesome project, I want to hear it. Come on Image, quit making endless NFL toys and get moving on something meaningful.
