Does anybody have any idea if this movie will ever come out on DVD? My husband and I have the VHS but it will wear out one day. I would love to have it on DVD where I can go to my favorite scenes with ease. This movie is a favorite of mine.

Why? That's anybody's guess. Whatever the reasons, they are not good enough.
I've writtten the Director and eight of the actors and made mention of the need for it's release onto DVD.
A Director's Cut, a Making of... documentary, and the trailers to the film.
All these are a must.
people keep contacting these folks over and over, maybe it will finally sink in!
I appreciate your efforts, Charlie. Would love to has this wonderful movie on DVD. I suspect it will happen eventually; in some cases, it just seems to take a while. One of my favorite sports movies, Blue Chips, starring Nick Nolte and directed by William Friedkin, was just released on DVD in the last year. And that movie was made in 1994. So I still hold out hope that Rough Riders will be on DVD in the not-too-distant future!

you're lucky that your VHS is still working. Mine wore out and you can't even get the movie on tape anymore!
