We had a thread on here (that had grown up over a few years) that explained everything anyone could ever have wanted to know about all aspects of the 'Practice DVDs' situation.
But, all of a sudden, it was DELETED (without IMDb saying anything about why).
All that information is now gone.
The latest position (as far as I can remember it) about Official DVDs, is that there are no more planned, at all, ever.
They left it too long to start releasing them (since 1997!!!) so now (by 2008 when the first one came out) the 'numbers of people buying it' were not large enough to make it worthwhile doing any more.

The above website you can order all 8 seasons of TP for like $69.
The fact that The Practice ended in 2004 and therefore consumer numbers purchasing it in 2010 would be too low and therefore uneconomical to produce is rubbish. Bewitched, Jeannie, etc are shows from the 60's/70's that were released in full and are still available to purchase. Sounds like somebody is getting greedy, remember the dramas surrounding Seinfeld going to DVD and there was talk that, that may not eventuate because of money disputes and cast interview disputes, etc.
Also, the one season of The Practice that was released has been packaged in that ridiculous part 1 and part 2 format of season 1. That's just a blatant consumer/fan rip off and a waste of packaging. Fans deserve more respect and it's not like they can't release seasons in their entirety let alone whole series when sufficient time has passed after the show ends.
These production houses are just a bunch of greedy so and so's
well, cheers started airing in 83, & when the sales of the DVDs were huge!
of course the practice doesn't have as much fans as cheers, but still, never say never.
I'm hoping that the sales of Ally and Boston Legal are allowing to Fox to relook at releaseing the Practice and Picket Fences. I wouldn't be opposed to them releasing a complte series set upfront like they did with Ally. I would get it and give away the 1 season of each I have. I would also love Boston Public and Chicago Hope.
