Um, Lara Flynn Boyle played the DA, aka, District Attorney. She wasn't part of the firm. So, your post means nothing.

"Sleazy?" You have the right to confront any witness against you. I'm sure if you or any of your family members were on trial, you'd want to confront your accuser, no matter how old they were.

Murder is a serious business, and the defendant should not be adjudge without all relevant evidence being heard.

Let the truth be known though the Heavens may fall...

These people pale in comparison to the real-life attorneys I've seen in action.

I agree. I've worked for a number of law firms, and while I've met some perfectly decent lawyers, the majority of them had serious, and I mean SERIOUS, personality issues.

You're right to add the perfectly decent ones, as I have several dear friends who come from the good attorney/person pool, and I've worked with others who were compassionate, dedicated and kind. As with any profession, unfortunately, the worst examples become better known than the good ones.
