I've come to the conclusion that Michael Badalucco...

isn't a very good actor. I like him, and I like Jimmy, and sometimes he's really good, but other times he's really not. Like, when he is supposedly upset, he doesn't seem like he really is. He just seems like he's reading the lines a little bit louder and not putting any emotion into it. Or, when he's supposedly embarrassed, there doesn't seem to be much emotion there, either. A little inflection, but not much emotion.

Maybe he's not a very emotional person, but wouldn't you have to be,
to be an actor?

Well, there's that one episode when his client asks him if he's a good lawyer and he says he, "runs hot and cold."

As far as his ethics, he was probably the most conservative character on the show, being in favor of the death penalty and against women selling their eggs.

Yeah, he screwed up when he told the client's son that he knew he killed the woman, but he was trying to get an innocent man out of jail, and get help for a very troubled kid. I can't blame him too much for that.

He did break legal ethics from time to time, but he did it in order to help people.

Of course, then a few episodes later he talks a client into pleading to murder 2 in order make a deal with the DA to get his innocent client out of jail. That was pretty bad. Also, he acted pretty animated in that one, screaming at Bobby and all. Maybe I totally don't know what I'm talking about....nah.
