And the name of the city is Aron (Elvis' middle name). He is made in Elvis' image.

I saw in another cartoon, which I can't remember the name of, where there was this Evis impersonator and it was the same voice actor doing the same voice, so yeah.
Rock lobster!
Yes, I notice the resemblance too.
Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden!
Regardless of what some people say, I've always thought the Elvis Presley connection was only a part of it. Johnny has always reminded me of a "stock character" - movies and shows (especially ' 50s and early ' 60s ones) used to have a lot of southern characters who acted like real studs, with the sunglasses and the hair style and so on, and he's always seemed to me like one long imitation of those characters, just as much as an Elvis joke (which is lucky, since I hate most Elvis jokes). It took me a long while to think of it, but he could also be an imitation of Jon Voight in Midnight Cowboy - naive southern character always thinking he can pick up women easily, but always getting brushed off by them. Maybe it's no coincidence that Brenda Vacarro, who was in that movie, played Johnny's mother.

Johnny didn't know Karate. He basically posed with "fake moves". There were even a few episodes showing he worked at a karate school cleaning or doing whatever he was told. When he took a class he failed lol.
I an't afraid of no ghosts!
