Love the movie, but I have a big problem with Cooper's dad's business. I've never heard of a toilet cleaning company before. What business would hire a company that only cleans toilets? That always falls under general housekeeping services, of which there are plenty to hire.
I know, it's a minor nitpick, but they could have made his dad's lucrative business a little more realistic.
The only thing I can think of is a company that cleans out porta potties. Which I believe does exist.
shareI think they wanted to show his dad as a successful businessman, but also one that started from the bottom and worked his way to the top. Starting out by cleaning toilets is a very graphic way of showing that to the audience.
It might be more than just cleaning toilets, but describing it that way might be Cooper's way of trash talking the business.
