I find myself watching Ally over again every six months or so. Not always the whole run, but it really reminds me of a certain time and place.
I call it the Ally vortex. Once I start it's tough to stop, until season 5, but there are some eps I like there.
I don't think I've ever seen the entire series. Probably dropped off around season 5, and still haven't seen it all.
It does remind me of a certain time and place, and there are still some aspects of it I enjoy that have withstood the test of time. I only started watching it again because Netflix has it, and I ran out of new shows I was interested in.
Season 5 is definitely tough sledding, although it does have an episode I like, when Elaine tries out for A Chorus Line.
