Guffman and Best In Show

I have introduced both of these movies to various friends and although many of them like Best In Show they don't think Waiting For Guffman is funny. I find it quite odd. I love both. Is it because Waiting For Guffman is a drier humour? With Guffman you really have to listen to get the jokes though, and that might be why some people like Best In Show and not Waiting For Guffman? Either way Christopher Guest is brilliant and between all his mocumentaries I think these two are the best.
