This movie was filmed in Austin, TX. At the beginning of the movie, we see the court square and then the city council with a model of it. Does anyone know the exact location for this courthouse? The unique building and the "spacing" around the square has a strong resemblance to the Parker County Courthouse in Weatherford, TX, several hundred miles to the north. Thanks, Lydia. There's little doubt when you look at http://www.lockhartchamber.com/courthouse.htm. The courthouse, with the significant spacing around it must be "a Texas thing" because it is quite like the one in Weatherford.
