The chicken wing...Spoiler!

When they show Libby cooking that one, sad looking chicken wing on the grill, I thought that it was one of the funniest scenes I have ever witnessed in a film. Nothing even needed to be said. Just the visual was enough to make just about anyone crack up. And the fact that they play it off like it's just an everyday thing, focusing on it just enough, but not too much. And Parker Posey played that scene to a tee, as well. Just hilarious. I don't know how he comes up with this ridiculous stuff, but I sure do appreciate that he does.

That joke came out of nowhere and hit me right in the gut! It was so unexpectedly hilarious and there were so many moments like that in this movie, I just watched it for the first time and I want to watch it again right away, it's wonderful.

It definitely was funny, for sure. Christopher Guest is such a genius at these types of things because they have the added benefit of being believable, unlike most comedies. Things you see in his films, although ridiculous, really could happen, and there really may be people like this.

"For Your Consideration" is another one that is similar to this. "A Mighty Wind" is great as well. All have that Christopher Guest quality to them.

That's definitely a favorite scene of mine. You really have to watch Guest films a number of times to catch all the gems in them.

100% agree with you, one of my all time favourite scenes.

Sadly fanning a single chicken wing on a grill. It's so sad and depressing that it's hysterically funny.

Exactly. And I love the long drag she takes on her cigarette.
