Remains of the Day lunchbox

ha ha ha. plonk. that was me laughing my head off.
Seriously though, where can I get one?

reply

I want one, too! Also, I'd love to have some "My Dinner with Andre" action figures!

"FRA-GEE-LAY. That must be Italian!"
"I think that says 'fragile', honey."

reply

I'm partial to the Big Heads.

If you can't find one, I suggest you make one. You know... children don't usually like eating lunch at school, but a Remains of the Day lunchbox would make them a whole lot happier.

No one ever leaves a star. That's what makes one a star.

LOL!

LOL "My Dinner with Andre" action figures, "The Remains of the Day" lunchbox, and the divine Parker Posey singing "Teacher's Pet" were my favourite moments of this briliant film!

Parker Posey's performance of Teacher's Pet was definitely a Schwiiing moment for me... Wish it had lasted longer

This was one of the funniest thing's I've ever seen! I was just laughing so hard!

"It's ok to play with dolls!"

The "remains of the day" lunchbox scene had me streaming with tears and laughing so hard I could not stop. It happened to be a time I really needed the boost

Well, kids are depressed these days.. They need company. I woulda loved to have me a Silence of the Lambs lunchbox, or a Howard's End lunchbox, or an Uncle Vanya on my lunchbox or even The Effect of Gamma-Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds.. I had a Norma Ray lunchbox and my little niece had her the Magdelene Sisters on hers

There are times in life, where I have to bite my lip. Every time a Girl Scout is selling cookies, I want to ask her so bad ",are they made from real Girl Scouts??.."(AF)
I saw Kazuo Ishiguro speak recently, and I wanted to stand up so bad and ask him to get those lunchboxes made...
*sigh* Missed another chance...
There's a great clip on you tube where someone is given a R O T D lunchbox as a gift. She laughed for 3 minutes straight.
Glad to see others got the joke..

Funniest part of the film.

in the year 2000 (when the film was relatively new) (not really I know) but this was a slow growing classic comedy. Anyway, I had a friend WHO QUOTED THAT LINE FOR YEARS!!
as the funniest line she ever heard "REMAINS OF THE DAY LUNCHBOX"
. I think she even met Jamie Lee Curtis (wife of Cris Guest at the time) and SHE laughed too. and I think she was relieved she was prasing her husband instead of her.. anyway. GREAT MOVIE.

Other than that, Life is a bowl of Palmolive, and I'm soaking in it.

That was a particularly nice touch.
