British culture has more depths in its sarcasm and criticism unlike in the USA where we pretend to be polite and at the same time overreact when we're offended.

It has gotten worse since the rise of social media and smartphones making stupid people feel more empowered and enabled. I'll even say that in today's UK the pervasiveness of social media culture has changed a lot since this movie came out.

It's a Brit thing... they toss it around like we in North America toss around 'motherf***r'.

It's considered distasteful and vulgar, but it doesn't have the visceral shock value that it has here.

Have you watched Karl Urban in The Boys on Amazon Prime? You'll hear it a lot there too.
