The fact that he values depositories for his aching constipation due to this heroin habit shows us just how low and venal he has become. It's pretty self explanatory. The toilet dive and swimming are his way of coping with the idea of fishing for his meds in his own pool of shit.

did you guys like a lifeless ordinary? that movie is dope to me. I didn't like how they shoved this edgy image down our throats of ewan mcgregor back then but I like that film.

It's just I think he got an MTV award back then and looked all glammed up and I bought into the image but I kind of see through the bullshit now.
