Yes. A nutter like Begbie holds a grudge forever, especially when it's a so-called mate who ripped him off.

Yes, he does still hold a grudge. It's made even worse because during Begbie's ten-year incarceration, Sick Boy was mailing him gay pornography. Begbie assumed that it Renton who was sending him these magazines, which fuelled his hatred.
