At which course does the US Open take place in the movie??

Skunk's Breath Municipal...seriously, this was a poor excuse for an Open course, I know they probably couldn't secure a true Open course, but honestly they could have found something a little more realistic!

They were in North Carolina, so we were probably supposed to think it was #2. It did bother me that they picked a course with no rough and 50 yard wide fairways, not exactly an Open Course.

I hope we weren't to think that it was Pinehurst. If we were, then the entire scene with Roy knocking the seagull off the post was complete BS. I lived in that area for 15 years, and never saw a seagull the entire time.

That was a pelican. I live in Durham and we have seagulls everywhere, but I have never seen a pelican here.
