How was "Mickey Mouse" able to call and warn em about the cross burning?

they had just established five minutes ago that they had changed their number to unlisted.

not impossible to find it, sure, but that guy didn't seem like the sharpest tool...

How is 'Harvey Wallbanger' one word!?

I haven't seen the film in a while...wasn't he an undercover cop or something? Maybe he had access.

If he wasn't, the number (especially back then, in that more rural area) may not have been changed yet.

I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus.
Didn't he discover America?
Penfold, shush.

He was a cop and they had the new number on file because Jake was Carl's lawyer and they might need to contact him.

Have you guys even seen the movie?

'Mickey Mouse' was NOT a cop. Jake being Carl's lawyer has nothing to do with it.

I think you're thinking that the KKK boys had a corrupt cop among them, but 'Mickey Mouse' was the reluctant KKK guy. he called Jake to warn them to get his family out of their house because he knew his buddies were going to burn a cross on his lawn. he certainly wouldn't have asked his cop buddy for Jake's new number to warn him.

and Jake being in a rural area has nothing to do with it. his father in law, while in church, mentions to Jake that he tried to call his house and the number was changed to unlisted. practically the next scene, 'Mickey Mouse' calls him from a pay phone to warn him about the cross burning. my question was how was he able to do that?

No way Bells is bigger than Waimea, bro.
