The one thing I didn't get that really effected me while watching this movie was, People like the two rapists have a view of black people that are out of the average persons understanding yes i get that, they believe black people are dirty diseased ect pure delusional stuff. But if they believe black people to be those things why would they have sexual intercourse contact with a black person? sorry I understand this is a bit of a strong topic but its just something I couldn't make sense of I thought if they where that bigoted against black people they would rather just murder one rather than the rape bit because they do believe black people are diseased.

They were drunk and high and just wanted to hurt her. Also, they weren't educated so it probably never crossed their minds.

Rape, especially of this sort (as opposed to what is euphemistically called 'date rape') is rarely about sex... it's about power and dominance over another person.
