So the message is "it's cool to take the law into your own hands"? Lovely

Sure we are all bigots and prejudiced and biased an racist and bla bla bla but I totally disagree with the message of the movie.

I think the message is quite simply "racism is wrong and destructive". I do not think the movie meant to portray Carl Lee as in the right; as I said in a previous post (copied here):

It's morally indefensible, and I believe that was the point – to instill cognitive dissonance in the viewer (who is clearly meant to root for him).

That is to say, your reaction – taking issue with the notion that what Carl Lee did was okay – is precisely the appropriate one. Even if that wasn't the filmmakers' intention, I'd still argue it's the reading that makes the most sense.

Don't listen to the negative ones; their arguments are irrational.

You obviously don't know American history. There are documentated cases of white men raping black women during slavery, Jim Crow era, up till today so stop acting like whites raping people is impossible. There is a famous case of a slave owner who sued another white man for destruction of property (raping one of his slaves).

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time Del Boy, it's them that started me drinking!
