Matthew M. Character should've hooked up with Sandra Bullock

If that had happened, that would've made this movie 1000000000000000000000000 times better. YEAH!

reply

There was definitely that chemistry between them. Wish they had!

Personally, I didn't see the point of Sandra Bullock's character in this movie at all, other than being eye candy. Much less to have an affair with Matthew M's character. Why would you promote a guy being blessed with a great family to screw it up by messing around?

well, there was the whole "helping on the case and doing legwork while the lawyer was in court" thing

Who cares about stairs? The main thing is ice cream.

In the end, her purpose in the film proved to be not much else than a plot device to get Kiefer Sutherland's character arrested at the end for kidnapping and assaulting her.

Sorry, the douchey adultery angle has been done to death.
Let a man be faithful to his beautiful, faithful wife, geez.

reply

Amen! Though it's bothersome enough to see a married man attracted to another woman in a movie, it's nice to see him resist it when he starts to see the danger. Real life men need to see others taking the moral high ground and not straying just because the wife is away and what she doesn't know won't hurt her. His guilt would drive a wedge between them and ruin their marriage

reply

Maybe not in the movie because his character was married to Ashley Judd.

But they did hook up for years in real life after they met in the movie.

reply

He was happily married to Ashley Judd's character, with a daughter.

I thought it was almost refreshing that they didn't have an affair. Nice to see a man and woman working together and not sleeping together. I liked it also in A Few Good Men - no romantic relationship between the Cruise and Moore characters.

reply

Agree. They had chemistry but it was nice to see them not go that route with their characters.

reply

They should have had Sandra Bullock hook up with Ashley Judd. :)

reply

lol no way. He was married with a kid. You can't have the main hero being a cheating scumbag

reply

I absolutely agree. Cheating is horrible!

It looked like Jake was going to hook up with Ellen, but he didn't. Even though I thought Matthew McConaughey and Sandra Bullock went great together, I'm glad Jake didn't have an affair with Ellen. It would've been wrong, number one, and number two, it wouldn't have fit the character. And to tell you the truth, his wife was played by Ashley Judd. I found Ashley Judd more attractive than Sandra Bullock. Had McConaughey's character not been married in the movie, I wouldn't have minded if he hooked up with Sandra Bullock's character. I thought McConaughey's chemistry with Sandra Bullock was almost as good as his chemistry with Kate Hudson.

Thanks for letting the world know you have no ethics, morals and can't be trusted.

All of them really eye candies.
Especially Matthew. He looks gorgeous in this movie.
The thing is, I am watching Time To Kill for the first time. I saw the trailer or so but never watched it.
I remember the first movie of his I watched was The Wedding Planner with JLo, I lost interest :-( but then after Contact and the movie with Kate I started to really like him.
Now I am a big fan of his.
Ashley then needless to say, I've always liked her beauty.
I like Sandra too.
