A lot of things remained unanswered, what happen to the daughter did she die because she ate the pie, what happen to Kuri Wuhrer character, what happen to Joe Mantegna character, what happen to the gypsy, I enjoyed the movie but to me it ended abruptly

You could say pretty much every movie ever made leaves a lot of loose ends if you think every character in the movie needs their stories finished.
