Director's cut?
Does one exist? Apparently it was a lot funnier and a lot of jokes were taken out in post.

shareOh no, really? This kind of movie thrives off of being funny and is a lot more well received when it goes a bit over the top with its jokes, like Drag Me to Hell for instance. Absolutely hilarious.
shareInteresting.
shareI saw this on a cable channel in Florida several years ago (a horror movie themed channel. Maybe the "Chiller" station?) and remember several deleted scenes I'd never seen before. One of which is Billy meeting with Richie before going off to find Lempke. Richie insists to call him if he needs any help, and plants 2 kisses on Billy's cheeks (I'm not kidding).
There were several other deleted scenes that I can't remember, but the other one that I'll never forget was, seeing as how it was on cable and needed to be edited for television, the scene when Billy finally confronts Lempke and pleads for him to remove the curse removed the F-bomb, and replaced it with "damn".
"Now take your damn curse off of me".
That's actor Burke says it, and not with much enthusiasm either. So I can see why this take didn't make it into the final picture, lol.
I actually posted about this here on imdb that year when I first saw it, but it's no longer in this movie's thread.
